Minimum Requirements
Work Experience Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of authorized skilled work experience in Canada (or an equal amount of part-time work experience) in the 3 years before you apply.
- Able to show that you performed the actions in the lead statement of the occupational description in the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
- Your work experience must be in TEER levels 0, 1, 2, or 3.
- Your work experience must be paid work. Volunteer work or unpaid internships do not count.
Language Ability Requirements:
- Take an approved language test for writing, reading, listening, and speaking.
- Meet the minimum score requirement of CLB/NCLC 7 for TEER 0 or 1 positions, and CLB/NCLC 5 for TEER 2 or 3 positions.
Other Requirements:
- Not be inadmissible into Canada
- No Education requirement
Skilled Work Experience Requirements:
- Must have worked in TEER category 0, 1, 2, or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
- Able to demonstrate that you performed the actions in the lead statement of the occupational description in the NOC, and able to perform most of the main duties listed.
- Your work experience can not be more than 10 years old.
- One (1) year of continuous full-time (1,560 total hours) work experience in Canada or abroad or equal amount in part-time work.
Language Ability Requirements:
- Take an approved language test for writing, reading, listening, and speaking.
- Meet the minimum score of CLB/NCLC 7 in all four categories.
- If you went to school in Canada, you must have a certificate, diploma, or degree from a Canadian secondary or post-secondary institution.
- Foreign credentials must be assessed for immigration purposes from a designated organization.
